Why are we holding this event
Empower UC is active in every county, and we have been effective this first year helping families become more successful and prosperous.
Our challenge now is to grow support in each county that will connect local Empower groups with local companies, churches, individuals and organizations in their area.
This luncheon will focus on information about Empower UC in Cumberland, Fentress and White County.

Example script when recruiting table guests
I am hosting a table for a lunch held by Empower Upper Cumberland.
Empower UC is helping local residents prosper through family engagement, skills training, job advancement and wrap-around services.
The program stays with families for three years, including them in weekly peer support meetings and linking them with local allies who help them succeed.
We are working with over 600 families right now, across our 14-count Upper Cumberland community.
Empower UC is important to me and I hope you will join me for lunch to learn more and consider making a gift that will help participating families.
