We invite you join us at the Kids Community Bike Ride on Saturday September 21 from 10 am until 2 pm.
This FREE family-friendly event will include games, giveaways, safety information, food, bounce houses, optional bike-adventure obstacle course area, and a 1-mile bike ride for children/families of all ages.
The event will be held in Algood near the baseball fields in Walter L Bilbrey Memorial Park, with bike rides along the rail-trail path.

We ask everyone to bring their own bike to the event. Parents are encouraged to stay with children throughout the day.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS, MUST CHECK IN CHILDREN AT THE FRONT GATE TO ALGOOD PARK (across the street from Farmers Market, near the playground).

The event is limited to the first 200 children, who will receive a FREE badge/pass for FREE hotdog, chips, tasting from Kona Ice, tasting from Pelicans, Juice box, water.
FREE games/stations for kids include: fire truck (you will get wet), CPR education, inflatable jungle gym, bike safety education with Algood Police, rail-trail mile family ride, first aid education, bike repair station with Scouts BSA.  Kids who complete check-in at each station will go into drawing for FREE prizes, including bike (and bike accessory) give away.

Parents/guardians may also attend any of the FREE activities/classes, and are encouraged to ride with kids (or walk with them as they ride) on the rail-trail.
Food vendors will also be available for adults to purchase food if they choose.

Carmen’s Fund, in memory of Carmen Burnette, operates year-round to provide FREE CPR, AED and Frist Aid training for Upper Cumberland school system teachers and employees/volunteers of non-profit organizations. Carmen’s Fund uses American Heart Association guidelines, and trains about 500 people each year.
