Volunteer

Dramatically Improving Patient Care Every Day

The Foundation has a small staff of three. Each year, the Foundation operates 10 major events, coordinates assistance for more than 2,000 patients, and oversees more than 14 programs and funds. Volunteer support is critical to our success, and we need additional support for:

  • Event planning committees
  • Event hands-on volunteers (great for groups)
  • Community outreach/office assistance
  • Grant writing

The Foundation operates dozens of fundraising events each year that require significant volunteer support. 5k races, black tie dinners, cycling events, wine tastings, golf outing and many other events offer opportunities to get involved and help the Foundation raise funds that assist patients here in our community.

For more information about event planning committees and day-of volunteer support roles, please contact Amanda Scott, events coordinator, at AScott@crmchealth.org

Volunteers are also an essential part of the team at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The “Auxiliary” perform a wide variety of tasks in roles for the hospital that dramatically improve patient care every day. Volunteering within the hospital is a rewarding experience that helps patients, families and visitors at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
