Leave a Lasting, Personal Legacy to Benefit Local Patients

It is people — administrators, physicians, employees, patients, former patients and other local residents — who have helped to make our hospital a regional center for state-of-the-art medical care. As we look toward the future, our goal is to build on the accomplishments of these people as we continue raising treatment standards and enhancing the quality of care offered to our patients.

That means we need the help of even more generous and dedicated people — people like you — to support this continuing effort. There are many different ways to give, and if you plan strategically, you can make a future gift that costs you practically nothing and leaves a personal legacy in your name that will continue to benefit the people of our community for many years.

The Foundation receives donations from hundreds of caring donors each year. Many donors restrict gifts to specific funds or programs, or choose to support an endowment fund. Endowment funds are investments that generate revenue each year. Interest earned on established endowment funds goes to support patient assistance funds, or programs, of the donor's choosing. The principal endowment remains invested for perpetuity, generating income each year for the cause selected by the donor.

Established endowment funds at the Foundation include the General Endowment, Auxiliary Endowment, Cardiac Endowment, and Pediatric Endowment. New endowment funds may be established by a single donor or group of donors. Interest from endowment funds begins to be used in service to causes once the principal reaches $25,000. Endowments are a wonderful way to ensure that causes you care deeply about receive support in perpetuity.

Endowments may be established over time with an annual commitment, in a lump sum gift, or through a gift indicated in a last will and testament. Endowment gifts also qualify donors for some available naming opportunities at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Naming opportunities at CRMC include specific rooms, waiting areas, and departments of the hospital. Customized inscriptions or dedicated plaques are available for display in a sponsored location. Naming opportunities begin at $10,000 for smaller rooms.  If you are interested in learning more, please contact the Foundation Director at 931-783-2003

Pediatric Endowment Spotlight

We are grateful to Dr Eric Fox for being a generous supporter of the Foundation's Pediatric Fund since 2009. Dr Fox donates in memory of his brother, John Michael Fox (1953-1970), who died unexpectedly at the age of 17. We are honored to establish a permanent Pediatric Endowment in memory of John Michael Fox. This endowment will help generations of children and families. Thank you Dr Fox for establishing this endowment in your brothers name.
