The Pet Therapy Dogs
Can’t Wait for Christmas!
Cookeville, Tenn. - The dogs in the Pet Therapy Program at Cookeville Regional Medical Center were in the main lobby on Tuesday, September 16th to show everyone their exciting new Christmas ornament for 2014. The ornament is shaped like a dog house that can be personalized by inserting a picture of a dog in the door way of the dog house and listing a dog’s name above the door.
These ornaments sell for $10 and every penny earned goes to help patients in the Cancer Center at Cookeville Regional. This pet themed ornament offering has become an annual occurrence, with a second sale date on October 16 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the main lobby at Cookeville Regional.
“Honor a dog you love this Christmas with a personalized gift that helps cancer patients in our region,” said Marydell Sommers, volunteer chair of the Pet Therapy program at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
