A Little Bit of Country Concert


On Friday, May 2 join the pet therapy dogs of Cookeville Regional for the “A Little Bit of Country” concert featuring music artist Jonathan Brown at Tennessee Tech University’s Wattenbarger Auditorium.  The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Take one part Tennessee hills, one part Southern blue collar, and two parts 1960’s Juke Joint and one will have an authentic icon of the Nashville Landscape, Jonathan Brown. His finger-style guitar playing has been enjoyed on Nashville Live.  Jonathan Brown will be joined by Nashville’s own Doc Stone, session musician with artists such as Roy Clark, Hank Williams and the Grand Olde Opry. The Master of Ceremonies is Drue Huffines.

“From the joyous first act to the solemn closing, you’ll enjoy a special evening and provide financial assistance to the Pet Therapy Fund of Cookeville Regional Medical Center where 100% of every penny earned goes to support the needs of patients in The Cancer Center,” said MaryDell Sommers, .

Come early and meet the Pet Therapy Dogs in the lobby of Wattenbarger Auditorium from 6:45 to 7:20 p.m.
