COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — For a limited time, The Foundation at CRMC is offering the opportunity to place your name or that of a loved one on one of the 4,000 solid clay bricks that will line the paths of the CRMC Foundation Hospice Memorial Garden, which will soon be complete.
Purchasing a brick is a unique way to create a lasting memorial to someone special in your life and to help hospice patients and their families in the Upper Cumberland. This timeless memento can be purchased with a tax-deductible gift of $250 per 4"x8" brick.
“The proceeds from the sales of these memorial bricks in the garden will be used by the Hospice Fund of The Foundation to pursue their vision, which is ‘the medical community, hospice services, and the public working together in mutual understanding as they expertly minister to the needs of the dying and grieving,’” said Sid Gilbreath, an active member of the Hospice Fund Advisory Committee of The Foundation at CRMC.
The Hospice Fund is administered by The Foundation at CRMC, a nonprofit charitable organization whose primary goal is to generate contributions to help support Cookeville Regional Medical Center — the recognized leader in providing top-quality healthcare to people of the Upper Cumberland — in its mission to expand both the quality and availability of healthcare services to our community.
“One of the main elements of the Hospice Fund’s mission is offering direct assistance to patients who need things,” said Gilbreath. “We’ll pay electric bills, utility bills or rent; buy an air conditioner; help someone with the cost of a prescription drug or nursing and sitter services — any of the things that might be requested by the patient’s healthcare providers.”
